The Dems exploit mass shootings to demand more gun laws, even though such laws would likely do nothing to prevent future shootings, since nearly all mass shootings are committed using guns that the killer either owned illegally in the first place, or only acquired legally because pre- existing laws that would have prevented the shooter from legally acquiring a firearm were not properly enforced (The Parkland shooting was a textbook example of the latter of the two).
The Dems exploit hurricanes to push for new environmental laws that would shackle industries, cost a ton of people their jobs, and do next to nothing to improve ecosystems or prevent future hurricanes from forming.
If a black person is killed by a white person, even in cases of justifiable self- defense or Good Samaritan- esque defense of others, the Dems exploit it to stir up BLM race- riots and demand more "Anti- hate- crime" laws that would not have affected anything since the actual death was not due to a hate crime.
