Ah, Dallas, I knew I could count on you
About ten days ago, I called the Dallas County voter registrar to make sure I was getting my absentee ballot. They looked me up, and assured me I was set to get it.

Sure enough, it arrived on Saturday. I opened it and filled out yesterday, sealed it back up, and took it with me today to work over in Holland. My office there took it, sent it registered mail with tracking info, etc.

Colin Allred is now officially one vote closer to unseating Ted Lose, er, I mean Ted Cruz. OK, it's still a long shot, but now it's one vote less long.

You sat down and typed up that whole boring pointless story about mailing a document (on the company's dime)?  Reminds me of their countless threads entitled "Just got my COVID booster!!!!!!!!!"

The DUmp is saying how fabulous Kamala's 60 Minutes disaster was.  60 Minutes is trending on twitter, and not in a good way.

That's how much DFW trusts the mail in balloting process.  :banghead:

I wonder if US Army, Navy, Marines, and Air Force personnel got and will be getting their absentee ballots and getting them delivered and counted reliably.

Must be nice. I wonder how many people from Florida, all the way up to North Carolina will be getting theirs let alone be able to vote this year.

Came to say just that. HI5
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.
