Something for DU lurkers to comtemplate

I went to a small town today. Even though it's small, like most towns, it's somewhat divided into sections. It has the working people section. The poor people section. The retired people section. The rich people section. As I was riding to and from my destination, I had to ride through portions of all those sections, and there were Trump signs and flags in all of the sections. There wasn't a Harris (or Biden) sign or flag to be seen. To be honest, I expected to see some Trump stuff, but it surprised me how demographically diverse the locations were. It also surprised me that there wasn't any Harris stuff up.

It really surprised me that I didn't see any because I was expecting a few. I know that Biden stuff was out in these same areas back in 2020.

I'm in northern NY, and there isn't a single sign for anybody, anywhere.  Not down ballot, not for dog catcher or chief cook and bottle washer.  It's mysterious.  This is red country, though.  Maybe everybody just assumes.
