Ms. Harris described her gun control stance in August 2019 at a Democratic presidential primary forum that took place shortly after two deadly mass shootings in California and Texas.

She said she was “prepared to take executive action” to implement comprehensive background checks, crack down on gun dealers and ban the import of so-called assault weapons.

Ms. Harris said she knew how to enforce tough gun laws because as California attorney general she allowed police to “knock on the doors of people” on a state list of prohibited gun owners and people deemed a danger to themselves and others.

I loved how that one used the word “allegedly” when referring to the assassination attempt we all saw on video.

Actually, what I think Donaldus Magnus learned from that is the same thing that many of the rest of us out here in flyover country have known for years - decades in some cases: ..."When seconds count, the cops are minutes away".

After having to call the cops to come in and arrest someo9ne after he shot his daughters ex-boyfriend out back of the store I was working at one night I can absolutely tell you the cops took about 20-30 minutes to get to the store to answer the call all the while I had to hold the guy at gun point until they showed up. During those minutes anything could have happened and you do not want to be waiting for the cops like that.

I'm very disappointed in the dems and their lapdogs at DU. They are constantly going on about scary looking rifles, but the husband of one of their overlords was attacked with a hammer. Why haven't they called for the banning of hammers? Especially assault hammers. Did you know that you don't even have to be an adult to buy a hammer? No background check either!
