Ben Shapiro obliterates Eric Swallwell on House Floor

Conservative commentator Ben Shapiro trolled Democrats over their focus on the Heritage Foundation’s Project 2025 in an appearance before the House Judiciary Committee.

While testifying in front of the House Judiciary Committee over the Global Alliance for Responsible Media’s alleged targeting of his company, the Daily Wire, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) redirected the conversation toward Project 2025. Pointing out renewed popular interest in it, the California Democrat asked Shapiro if he agreed with its suggestions.

“Like President Trump, I haven’t looked all that deeply at Project 2025, but it seems that Democrats on this committee are sort of like Peter Pan and Tinker Bell,” Shapiro responded. “If they say Project 2025 enough, their presidential candidate becomes alive again.”

The remarks drew laughter from the crowd and a brief smile from Swalwell.

Swalwell then moved to ask about certain parts of Project 2025, adding that he agreed with wanting to cut bureaucracy and increase government efficiency.

“Congrats on becoming a Republican,” Shapiro quipped.

“My parents would be proud,” Swalwell responded, chuckling.

Shapiro was testifying following a report from the committee showing that GARM had likely illegally colluded to silence conservative figures and outlets.

Project 2025 has taken on an almost mythic position in the eyes of Democrats, with fears over its policy suggestions becoming a cornerstone of President Joe Biden’s 2024 campaign. The severity of attacks on the Heritage Foundation‘s project led to former President Donald Trump publicly disavowing it last week.

Shapiro Agrees To Share Joint Ownership Of Eric Swalwell With Chinese



WASHINGTON, D.C. — Following the House Judiciary Committee meeting in which Ben Shapiro lawfully acquired full ownership of Democrat representative Eric Swalwell by means of facts and logic, the conservative co-founder of the Daily Wire has graciously agreed to share joint ownership of his new liberal with the Chinese, who claim that they owned Swalwell first.

Sources say that Shapiro was just finishing mopping the floor of the Capitol with Swalwell's opprobrious physiognomy when Fang-Fang, the female Chinese operative with whom Swalwell was illicitly involved, contacted Shapiro to tell him to "back off, since the Chinese Communist Party has first dibs on Swalwell."

"And I said, of course not, you shouldn't have had him in the first place," Shapiro recalled, sipping casually from a glass full of liberal tears on the rocks. "US property law is completely on my side. Now, I know what you're thinking — he's already been in bed with the Chinese for years. And the fact is, folks, let me tell you something: how ‘bout we go shares and split him fifty-fifty?"

According to sources close to the situation, Shapiro will now officially own Swalwell on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, while the Chinese will get the Democrat representative on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, and both will alternate on consecutive Sundays.

At publishing time, the Chinese were contacting Shapiro to tell him that the other Democrat representatives he owned with facts and logic actually belonged to them first, too.
