My wife has been admitted to a hospital in Australia.
She’s getting excellent care and will likely be released in a day or two.

The important point is that, as non citizens, we’ll be responsible for the bill (likely all covered by our home and travel insurance plans). For those who keep talking about “I’ll move abroad if Trump is elected”, keep in mind that those social programs you love won’t be available to you

Many of us here decry the abysmal state of healthcare in this country for good and well documented reasons.
