Trump claims that his Hitler statements are different. Yeah, Hitler's were in German.
Trump has been doubling down on his Hitler statements, -- "Vermin." "Poisoning our blood." -- in the past few weeks. And most of his base loves the Nazi shit he's spewing.

No one should ever again question how Hitler and his thugs came to power in Germany. We're seeing it happen here today. And those of us who "get it," don't have a clue of how to stop these homegrown thugs, which the Federal Oath of Office calls "Domestic Enemies."

Considering the alternative, perhaps it's time for us Democrats to get down in the gutter and fight these barbarians on their own terms. One way or another, they must be pushed back into their caves. They'll never go away. But at the very least, we, (the civilized world), must keep them on the fringes of humanity until our species evolves beyond its current adolescence.
