I'm untangling the messes here at home and getting used to not being in an oven haunted by southern accents.  :-)

I made a huge dinner last night as a "Welcome Home" gesture.  Meatloaf, mashed, asiago garlic bread and steamed green beans. I bought these killer little desserts at the store and everyone had thier choice of caramel apple blossom, volcano chocolate cake or pinapple upside down cake.

Finally get to see my eldest play volley ball with her team tonight. Go Demons!!!  :cheersmate:

I have a lot of unpacking and sorting to do yet today.  Yesterday I spent a chunk of my daylight hours replacing my cell phone which got trashed and the pair of glasses that I lost down south.

I went with this for the phone:


Its a Motorola Renegade V950.  It's rubber armored and certified to military specifications for dust, shock, vibration and blowing rain.  I asked for something hard to kill. :-)

I'm watching Fox News 9/11 coverage right now.  Makes it difficult to think of the mundane everyday thing I need to do today.
