I don't believe Joe Biden is actually planning to run in 2024.

It's likely DJT jumped in early to deflect from coming court appearances, but when he announced his candidacy the fund raising officially began. With no other viable candidate on the Democratic side that gives the GOP a huge head start on raising money for 2024.

With Joe Biden announcing his campaign, it begins the process of catching up until another candidate throws their hat or bonnet into the ring. Then, Biden can throw his endorsement to him or her and the money raised can be transferred to the upstart campaign negating any advantage gained by republicans.

There's no guarantee Trump will do the same with money he raised, but dems can't take the chance of losing the money battle. It matters more than it should.

Don't forget the right to express opinions, the right to defend oneself from attackers, and all that good stuff.

The Big Guy's framing of 2024 as "more rights vs. fewer rights" could actually be a massive self-own.
