I didn't.
NAMBLA is a left-wing organization.

There's a reason why patriotism is considered a conservative value. Watch a Tea Party rally and you'll see people proudly raising the American flag and showing pride in U.S. heroes such as Thomas Jefferson. Watch an OWS rally and you'll see people burning the American flag while showing pride in communist heroes such as Che Guevera. --Bob, from some news site

Given my feelings about McCain, and from what I have seen in the change in Republican party behavior over the last 9 days, I think someone was listening to that phone call and this is a painfully truthful rendition of what happened.

People were saying his speechwriters did lots of ghosting on her speech, but I see lots of her ideas in his speech too.  She drove a hard  bargain.

Anyway, anytime McCain gets in trouble over the next four years, my advice is going to be "Talk to the lady."

On edit, they have a link to Lisa Nova doing Hillary doing Sunset Blvd.  That is rich and funny.   Lisa Nova is going to have a huge career with this kind of thing.

4 years from now McCain will be 76.   And Linda Lingle will be term limited.  Palin and Lingle could each move up a notch.  I won't cry if they do.

I think that the people making the Dan Quayle comparisons are going to be quite surprised to find that Palin has a brain and good common sense. I still strongly dislike McCain and know he will open the borders to the Mexican hordes given half a chance. But I think Palin wont be a VP that is little more than a 'spare tire' that might sway a battleground state. As much as I dislike the Bush administration I think they have set a new standard for 'hands on' VP's. At least for the GOP. And I am counting on Palin to keep McCain (somewhat) in line. Yes, I am sold on Sarah. Hey that could be a good sig line! Remember where you heard it first people.

Have you noticed there hasn't been a word about McCain for days on this board.  It is all Sarah this that and the other.

My respect for the man has upped a notch that he was willing to take this risk.

Of course, given my feelings for the man, the level of respect I have still has a decimal point and a couple zeros in front.  But if he keeps this kind of thing up, the law of exponential returns might actually wipe out the zeros and even cross the decimal point.

Sarah Palin shouting "Say my name!  Say it!"

That thought has made me a happy, happy man.

Just watch the Hillary does Sunset Blvd one, and all will be forgiven.

Just wait until SNL comes back on. I bet Tina Fey will be asked to come back just to impersonate Palin.

This is mean. A bit funny, but mean. But it's by far only the beginning.

No, my friends, there’s only one really progressive idea. And that is the idea of legally limiting the power of the government. That one genuinely liberal, genuinely progressive idea — the Why in 1776, the How in 1787 — is what needs to be conserved. We need to conserve that fundamentally liberal idea. That is why we are conservatives. --Bill Whittle
