I saw this post over at newsbusters from the great Bill Whittle

Quote
I’ve seen post after post on Hillary forums about how much they love Sarah, how they are energized and lifted out of depression by her (and the sight of an actual Roll Call made some of them weep). They gush about how she reminds them of their hero, how tough and savvy and unafraid she is. And I have seen these women, hard-core, feminist Democrats for 30 years and more, sit in slack-jawed amazement at Palin and at how fiercely Republicans — Republicans! — are defending her, backing her, and cheering her to the rafters. These Clinton supporters say they don’t know what to think any more: The Republicans are behaving like Democrats and the Democrats are behaving like Republicans!

So I figured I would take a look for myself, sure enough...http://www.hillaryclintonforum.net/

has a catagory set up for Sarah.

Here's a thread on Speech night.

We can use this specific thread for tonight's GOP convention coverage and for Sarah Palin's speech and the rest of the speakers.

FOX has already started a countdown lol.

Excerpt from Palin's speech about community organizer

Candy Crowley on CNN just read this excerpt from Palin's speech tonight:

"Being a small town Mayor is sort of like being a community organizer except you have responsibilities."

Gotta love it!!!

Drudge has excerpts of speech up! YOWSA!!!!

On her experience as a public servant:

"I had the privilege of living most of my life in a small town. I was just your average hockey mom, and signed up for the PTA because I wanted to make my kids’ public education better. When I ran for city council, I didn’t need focus groups and voter profiles because I knew those voters, and knew their families, too. Before I became governor of the great state of Alaska, I was mayor of my hometown. And since our opponents in this presidential election seem to look down on that experience, let me explain to them what the job involves. I guess a small-town mayor is sort of like a ‘community organizer,’ except that you have actual responsibilities."

Yes. And, he will certainly be the wisest President WHEN he is sworn in. Thanks.

I notice that RNC has more female speakers at the convention.

The DNC convention has male speakers one after the others even on the anniversary of the women suffrage.

I've noticed that the Reps don't sound cynical. Hillary never sounded cynical. The radical left Dems are so cynical, it's depressing.

I think Hillary has gotten more applause here as she did at our convention.

Makes me so mad at how the democrats have treated her.

How many of the speakers at the DNC gave her props?

I'm so proud to be a woman right now.

Just have three words:

Obama
Is
Toast

People will be able to identify with Sarah. That's what voters like. They can't identify with Obama or Biden. At all
.

WOW,

This girl means business!

She's coming out swinging.

She wants a brawl!

You would never know the media just bloodied her and her family nonstop for three days straight!

The thread is 19 pages long

If I was a DUmmie...

I might be a little worried.  :-)

I've been lurking there for about a week now. It's a good place to go if you wanna' see what the PUMA's are thinking.

What does PUMA mean?
An optimist sees the glass as half full, a pessimist sees the glass as half empty, an engineer sees that there is twice the glass required to contain the beer

Party Unity My Ass -- basically mrs. clinton supporters telling husseinites to shove it up their ass.

Thanks.

Cool idea.

I felt that way about McCain until last week, so they may calm down pretty soon.

Ive been observing HCF for days now -actually I was just there a few minutes back. They are one of a dozen or so PUMA sites ive looked at, and at this time I have to say that there are ALOT of PUMAs - far more than the Obamatons admit.

The +- 6 million PUMAs crossing the isle that everyone seems to be talking about is probably correct, and the more Obama swings at Palin, the larger that number seems to be getting.

Remember - To Obama, A lost vote is a net loss of 1. A crossover vote is a net loss of 2.

So - the net effect for us is +- 12 Million votes. That WILL turn an election. Especially considering the gulf as of late has been just four percentage points (52%-48%)

I dunno.

Take the most conservative estimates.

There's 4,000,000 bona fide Democrats who voted for the worthier Democrat candidate who say they won't vote for Barry "Six States" Obama.

That's not to say they'll vote for John McCain, though.

Most will probably not vote for president, voting for Democrats down the ballot, and some will feel their party loyalty, and vote for Barry "Six States" Obama with a clothespin on their nose.

However, if only one-fourth, 25%, of those vote for John McCain, that's a million extra votes.

Given the tightness of presidential races since 1992, and the big-city political machines that create "votes" out of thin air, though, a million votes is significant.  Even three-quarters of a million would be significant.

Why the Obamaites, and the Obamaite primitives, don't see this, escapes me.  One reasonably suspects the Obamaites, and the Obamaite primitives, don't understand numbers.

The Obamaite cali primitive recently pointed out that 81% of those who supported the worthier Democrat candidate for president are going to vote for Barry "Six States" Obama (the Obamaite cali primitive's point being there is no need to extend the olive branch to the PUMAs &c., as they're "already in the bag").

A political realist working for Barry "Six States" Obama would be really bothered, by that statistic.

Which goes to show the Obamaite cali primitive doesn't know or understand shit.
