McCain took the lead in delivering the re-tooled message, emphasizing the against-the-grain tendencies he shared with a woman who only became governor after toppling an incumbent governor and institution in Alaska politics.“Send a team of mavericks who aren’t afraid to go to Washington and break some china,” he said in Michigan.

As for the men in the audience, they were excited to see Palin in person, too, if for different reasons.“She’s good-looking,” exclaimed Scott Kennison, drawing playful rolls of the eyes from the women surrounding him in Cedarburg.

I can only surmise "heidi" was so named for her ability to braid her hair...on her legs, pits, pubes...and probably her back too. ick!

Thats one of the things I appreciate most about conservative women...they are not afraid of being feminine. Look at Sarah...smart, tough as nails, a hunter, a mother and not afraid of dressing in a way that displays her already considerable good looks. The DUmmies act as if it is a crime, or should be. Well, it will be if they ever gain the uncontested control that Democrats and other totalitarian political parties always crave. By the same token conservative men have no problem with being masculine. Which the left would also make a crime if they could. Everyone 'equal'. Everyone the same. Think the Borg on Star Trek.

Or it could be that she is comfortable being a woman and accepts men for what they are.
