Has anyone of any note on the right even mention interracial marriage let alone banning it? Where is the left pulling this from (other than their asses)?
Your endoscope in accurate.
"Interracial marriage" is a term I loathe. Persons of European, Asian, African, North American, South American, and Australian ethnic origin are all of one race,
Human. FWIW, I have a child-in-law, who was welcomed into our family from the first time we met them. So my actions and words are consistent.
I've heard this one a few times, and have to admit to being a little puzzled by it.
The American pro-life movement has been a coalition principally comprising Evangelicals and Catholics (with other honourable mentions as well). Whilst Catholics are opposed to contraception, it does not follow that we have to work to ban it. More significantly, every Evangelical whose views on the subject I've known hasn't had a problem with contraception (by which I mean real contraception, not abortifacients marketed as emergency contraception) and see it as a perfectly legitimate option for a married couple. So as I see it, the wide 'killing babies is wrong' coalition dissolves as soon as it goes near condoms or the pill. Am I missing something?
My understanding is that Catholic teaching concerning contraception is considered binding only on Catholics. I've not heard significant Catholic voices advocating a law forbidding contraception generally (I've not heard any, but there may be outliers out there somewhere). As to Evangelical Christians, I've heard zero opposition to any form of contraception that is not an abortifacient.
But facts mean nothing when Progs lie about the views of people they oppose/hate.
