How do we get Fux News viewers to see the Jan 6 hearings?

During Nixon's hearings there were 3 or 4 TV stations and they showed the hearings and Americans were able to see the whole picture. Since Fux won't even show the hearings how do we get GOP viewers now?

1. Why bother? They'll just dismiss the whole thing as fake.

2. Unfortunately, I doubt many will watch. Of any political stripe.

The first summer after Covid?

What a great scheduling job! Funny that.

3. You don't.

You can't MAKE people watch, and if you did you wouldn't convince them it wasn't a Democratic hit job.

Jan 6 is NOT going to be a killer issue that will drive the election.

nb: people forget that only one network at a time carried the Watergate hearings. Most people watched their game shows or soap operas.

4. broadcast it on Fux News uninterrupted..

no blithering idiots, no commercial breaks...you've got to figure the Fux News brainwashed moronic loyalists watch nothing else so if they're "stuck" watching the hearings then oh well...

7. I don't see it happening. They have gone down the rabbit hole long ago.

I seriously doubt that anything will change people's minds when it comes to politics. The economy, immigration, crime, and even education, which us Dems have always been considered more trustworthy, are all not looking favorable.

It is not looking good for 2022 but it is a long time until November - who knows what can or will change by them. The one thing I have learned is that Americans seem to embrace "nasty" more than I ever thought possible. Hard to accept but that is how it seems to me.

When you see how Oprah unleashed Drs OZ and PHIL on us that tells me a lot about what we consider important these days.

Welcome to "Jerry Springer" America.

10. it is Democrats and Indies watching it you need to worry about

I hate to tell people this... but information is not disseminated now like it was during watergate.

No one is going to watch these hearings live. Well, not literally "no one", but daily ratings will likely reach 2-3% of the US population. I hate to disappoint you all but if you think people are going to stop streaming Ozark, watching sports and uploading to tiktok long enough to sit in front of a TV to watch these hearings, you need to get real about this. Attention spans are SHORT and there is no such thing as a captive audience anymore (i.e. not like the old days when if the three networks broadcast something, there was no other channel to tune to if you didn't want to watch it).

Now... what you NEED if you want an impact from these hearings is for the highlights to be widely disseminated in the MSM and on social media. THAT is how you get the details of the hearings onto people's "feeds" and from there into their brains. That is how you get people talking about it, and caring about it.

13. There isn't any way only 2-3% watches Fox. Maybe 2-3% at any one time but far more

over a day. What was it 70 million voted for Trump I bet most all of them get their news from Fox.

19. Look at the ratings that give the numbers

Tucker gets about 3 million viewers each night and he has the highest rated show on Fox News. ABC News, NBC News, and CBS News each alone crush Tucker in the ratings each night.

There is no basis that supports your argument that the 4 million who watch Tucker are entirely different then the people who then watch Hannity.

27. Where do you get your data?

Tucker is not crushed if it’s the #1 news program on tv.

It doubles viewership over almost all other programs. We can’t hide our head in the sand. 7 of 10 fox’s programs are on top. MSNBC and CNN have lost viewership. We need programs than pull in independent voters.

28. He's the #1 show on cable but that doesn't include the broadcast news shows.

"During the week spanning March 7-11, 2022, ABC World News Tonight with David Muir averaged the most total viewers (8.91 million) of any U.S. TV show (excluding syndication) and the most adults 25-54 of any evening newscast (1.67 million), as per live-plus-same-day data from Nielsen.....

NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt averaged 7.29 million total viewers (No. 5 on all of U.S. TV) and 1.39 million adults 25-54 during the week of March 7.....

The CBS Evening News with Norah O’Donnell averaged 5.25 million total viewers and 844,000 adults 25-54 for the week of March 7."

Compare the above with Fox news Channel below

"For primetime, Fox News Channel (FNC) averaged about 2.4 million viewers each day, of which 364,000 were in the key demo. "

https://www.msn.com/en-us/tv/news/fox-leads-cable-news-in-april-ratings/ar-AAWCSqM

Some info about the number of viewers Tucker gets every night:

"“Tucker Carlson Tonight” ended the year as the most-watched program on cable news with an average audience of 3.2 million viewers. "

25. Make them a deal they can't refuse...

If they broadcast the full hearing, the appeal to the FCC to change their name because of false advertising will be dropped. "FOX News" is not an accurate name for a propaganda network. We have the tapes and the texts to prove it.

How do we get Fux News viewers to see the Jan 6 hearings?

Break into our homes at midnight June 9th, set our TVs to MesSNBC, lock the setting, walk out with the TV remotes, and dump all the stolen remotes into the nearest river or lake. :rotf: Oh! And BigPig should burn sage in the middle of every Fox viewer's living room while casting one of his "binding spells". :rotf:

DUmmies are known for always asking the wrong questions.

This is a perfect example.

They should be asking how they can make anyone believe their lies, how they can make anyone who isn't already a Trump hater care what so ever.

Surely some rich moonbat could cover the lost advertising revenue.  Bezos, Gates, Mineral Man pick one.  Now the lost viewership, that would be a bit harder to calculate.

The only way to get anyone besides the political addicts to watch would be to put it on during primetime. Conservatives work for a living and can't watch daytime TV. Especially this soap opera crap that is going to be crafted by Hollywood writers for the January 6th hearings.

Fox News is on in our lunchroom/breakroom sans audio, and I've noticed that they're often covering government hearings and Peppermint Patty's daily briefings.
