So, I was sitting in a medical office waiting to get my DOT physical.

Local news was on and the story about the judge blocking airlines & public transportation from enforcing masks. A guy waiting there to take a pee test and started to complain about wear a mask while flying. He was there an long time and was still there when I was done with my things. I was there for a couple of hours. I did get a pretty good laugh when a staff member told him to stop complaining. He started in on her with a bunch of gibberish. But she shut him when she asked him what was wearing on his face? He smart ass remarked “clothes”! She said “no, covering your mouth, a mask”. He quickly shut up and didn’t say anything else! She finished with “wearing masks aren’t nice but at least it saves me from you and vice versa” and then she back to work not missing a beat

maybe :bouncy: :bouncy: 2 bongs?

Having been, over more than 6 decades, in God knows how many grocery store lines and a similar number of doctors', dentists', and medical labs' waiting rooms without once hearing some stranger pipe up about anything political, I have to conclude that DUmmies go to grocery stores and medical/dental office used by an entirely different sub-species of human than I've ever encountered (and, of course, UGP goes to veterinarians. :rimshot:  :bolt: ).
If The Vaccine is deadly as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, millions now living would have died.

Exactly one time in my life a woman in front of me spoke about an impending/threatened grocery strike.
Her statement was "I support the workers, but I hope they don't strike."

I said "oh yeah?"

She said " where else can I get this stuff..?

I said maybe "Costco or Sam's?"

"Well, maybe Costco, I don't want to deal with the Wal-Martians at Sams."
Which made me chuckle cause I had never heard that before.

Told her to have a nice day.

She said thanks and the same.

End of the most political "in the wild" convo I've ever had.

Spoken English does have a different grammar/syntax than written English, but that first post especially was stream-of-unconsciousness. :stoner: As to the second, I do use an ellipsis or two on occasion (in addition to comma-itis and hyphen-itis, :-) ), but that post looked like an inability to for a written complete sentence. But we're the ones DU-folk think are stupid, ::) .
