2022 elections will be a barometer for the health of America

How much do Americans care about Putin's invasion of Ukraine?

How much do Americans care about Donald Trump's relationship with Vladimir Putin?

How much do they care about what happened on January 6th of last year?

How much do they trust the Dept of Justice to apply justice fairly and squarely?

How much do they trust Republicans to do what is best for America?

These are a few questions Republicans are confronted with when they go to the polls? Are we to believe they do not care about any of the questions above? Is their primary motivation only to defeat the left and the liberals?

The elections of 2022 and 2024 will not tell us where America is going. They will tell us where we have already gone.

Why so much deflection, Kentuck?  Don't you think the questions should be;

1.  What are you going to do about inflation?

2.  What are you going to do about energy costs that are skyrocketing?

3.  What are you going to do about border security?

4.  What are you going to do about unemployment?

So many other questions to be asked that are actually more important and actually affect the populace at large.  Most don't care about your hatred for all things Trump.  Out of the 5 questions you asked above, 3 of them are about former President Donald Trump.  Do you REALLY think the American people care about that when the questions I asked above truly affect them directly?  If so you're dumber than even I thought.

Nor do they go much into root causes beyond a sentence's worth of explanation

Most people support Ukraine against Russia, and see both parties talking support of Ukraine. Won't be a big factor because of it. They won't go into the Pub's old Russian ties - too old and too deep.

Jan 6 is old news, and outside of politically engaged members of our party, few care.

Inflation is huge and will cause backlash against us unless it can be tamed quickly. We're in power now and they're hurting now, most voters won't think past that - so we get the blame.

They thought they could ride 1/6 for the next 20 years.  Nobody cares and there are a lot of unanswered questions.  Also, nobody cares because they're feeling broke and angry.

They thought they could ride 1/6 for the next 20 years.  Nobody cares and there are a lot of unanswered questions.  Also, nobody cares because they're feeling broke and angry.

     1/6, my lengthening balls. A group of stupid hooligans (yeah, folks, it was dumb as hell) stormed the interior of the building with NO weapons, NO plan, NO support, NO logistics, and NO supply, yet it was an attempt to
overthrow the government? Gee, I once visited the Alamo and found a corner to fart in: did I do a chemical attack? Meanwhile, BLM and Antifa rioted, looted, burned, and killed for all of 2020 and some of 2021, and not only
was it blessed by liberals, they weren't even told to put masks on to slow the spread!

     I'd repeat that no one cares about 1/6, but I'd hate for people to take my word for it, and I don't want to appear that I'm trying to convince MYSELF of anything.

How much do Americans care about Putin's invasion of Ukraine? How much do we care about Hunter's laptop?

How much do Americans care about Donald Trump's relationship with Vladimir Putin?  How much do we care about the Biden's dealings in Ukraine?

How much do they care about what happened on January 6th of last year?  How much do we care about the BLM/Antifa Riots ~1.5 years long?

How much do they trust the Dept of Justice to apply justice fairly and squarely?  How much do we believe the DOJ will take care of the corruption the Biden's have participated in?

How much do they trust Republicans to do what is best for America?  We had lower unemployment, taxes, energy costs, a better grasp of covid (as evidenced by the number of deaths under Biden vs Trump, and Biden had a vaccine that was already developed and planned for delivery), and Russia wasn't invading Ukraine or any other country when the republicans were in charge.

These are a few questions Republicans are confronted with when they go to the polls? Are we to believe they do not care about any of the questions above? Is their primary motivation only to defeat the left and the liberals? Yup.  We were better under Trump.

The elections of 2022 and 2024 will not tell us where America is going. They will tell us where we have already gone.  And we liked being there.
