It is said that branches draw their life from the vine. Each is separate yet all are one as they share one life giving stem . The Bible tells us we are called to a similar union in life, our lives with the life of God. We are incorporated into him; made sharers in his life. Apart from this union we can do nothing.

How about a song written and recorded by someone and the song didn't go anywhere. The song writer got in a pinch for cash, sold the rights to the song, The song is recorded by someone else and is a hit. Later on the songwriter is a recording artist in their own right and rerecords the song and it's a hit.   Crazy isn't it.

“The national budget must be balanced. The public debt must be reduced; the arrogance of the authorities must be moderated and controlled. Payments to foreign governments must be reduced, if the nation doesn't want to go bankrupt. People must again learn to work, instead of living on public assistance.”
