It is not beyond the realm of possibility considering the desperation of the Democrats to remove President Trump from office in the wake of their extreme disappointment over the fact that the Mueller Report had just revealed NO Trump-Russia  collusion.

In this video we see Napolitano, to the surprise of many, strongly supporting impeachment. Was his motivation to keep his "secret" from being revealed?

I just strongly suspect he's just more deeply embedded with the Deep State and Politician class than he'd like the rank and file out here in flyover country to be aware of. The probability he's being blackmailed is considerably lower (not that he may not have extortable dirt in his closet, just that the politician class don't expose one another's secrets except as a last resort).

I heard someone say that Nappy was pissed because Trump passed him over for any and all cabinet positions.

It might have been that. I just know that Napolitano was a big supporter of Trump at first, then seemed to do a 180 later on.
