You know, simply put, there needs to be an adverse consequence for politicians who

so brazenly lie to the American people.

In the past, our social and political systems essentially depended on personal shame and societal shunning to deter and punish liars. Now, we have a cadre of virtually shameless ideologues in office and a willfully ignorant segment of voters determined to reward them for their mendacity.

I understand that we would not want to totally silence these dishonest operatives, but as long as political power merchants like McConnell can have access to our TV screens to insist that the filibuster has "no ties" to racism, or words to that effect, we will not have the true educated populace upon which our democracy depends.

Aside from "voting them out" years in the future, can no remedy be fashioned for willful lying and a political tactic?
When Joe-Mentia brazenly lies and says there was no vaccine or distribution plan before he took office, what remedy would Atticus suggest??? DUpipo should be verrrry careful what they wish for...

Biden promised he wouldn't stop fracking or the Keystone pipeline.

Harris lied by cover-up keeping over 600 people in jail with tainted evidence.

Now go show us how sincere you are.
According to the Bible, "know" means "yes."

There have been multiple articles calling out LIEden's Covid and vaccine whoppers, this being one:

Battenfeld: Biden’s fake claims about coronavirus vaccine unseemly

https://www.bostonherald.com/2021/03/15/bidens-fake-claims-about-coronavirus-vaccine-unseemly/

Quote
President Biden’s blatant attempt to steal the credit for the so far successful coronavirus vaccine rollout is unseemly and inaccurate — revealing just how insecure Biden is when it comes to the political optics of his new administration.

The White House is so desperate to wipe away any vestige of Donald Trump’s administration that it’s resorting to fake claims about the vaccine and pumping up Biden’s alleged heroics.

In his address to the nation last week, Biden made several totally “misleading” claims that even the liberal New York Times and CNN were able to uncover.

The Democratic president said the beginning stages of the virus in 2020 were “met with silence and spread unchecked, denials for days, weeks, then months.”
...
Here’s another whopper — Biden’s statement that “two months ago this country didn’t have enough vaccine supply to vaccinate all or anywhere near all of the American public. But soon we will.”
...
In another “misleading” claim, Biden says when he took office only 8% of Americans under 65 had gotten their first shot.

“Today that number is 65%,” Biden boasted.

Again, the reason for the big jump is because health care workers, first responders and nursing home residents were prioritized in most states to get the virus first. It wasn’t because of anything Biden did.

For a better view of Trump Administration response to what came to be called a pandemic, see http://www.gopbriefingroom.com/index.php/topic,412484.0.html , http://www.gopbriefingroom.com/index.php/topic,412485.0.html , and http://www.gopbriefingroom.com/index.php/topic,412701.0.html. By the end of February, Moderna had submitted samples of its vaccine for testing, HHS was working with Janssen/J&J, and HHS was working with AbCellera and Regeneron on their monoclonal antibody treatments ... among many other decisive actions. Meanwhile, well, LIEden, would rather we forget what he and other Dems were doing and saying in those early months, http://www.gopbriefingroom.com/index.php/topic,412821.0.html .

Biden has done some good things - a few, compared to Trump and OWS - but the effects of those probably won't be felt until May or June. Almost all progress from Pfizer being approved to the present are due to contracts Trump negotiated, the work of OWS, and the pharmaceuticals companies who developed and tested (some with Federal funding and all with FDA Fast-Tracking) the vaccines. BTW, I've only been alluding to purchase contracts currently in effect. If AstraZeneca receives Emergency Use Authorization for its vaccine, a 300M dose contract comes into effect. Similarly, if Novavax receives Emergency Use Authorization for its vaccine, a 100M dose contract comes into effect. All these purchase contracts - with P, M, J&J, AZ, and N - were negotiated by Trump, including the P and M options LIEden exercised.
If The Vaccine is deadly as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, millions now living would have died.

We all know when DUpipo say "politicians" and reference consequences, they only mean Republicans.  Rules and standards don't apply to Dems.  All animals are equal, but some are more equal than others.
Romans 6:17-18 But thanks be to God, that you who were once slaves of sin have become obedient from the heart to the standard of teaching to which you were committed, and, having been set free from sin, have become slaves of righteousness.
