As histories of democracies has taught us, the most stable and long-lived democracies tend to have been two-party systems, so it's a good idea for us to stick with the Republican-Democrat
status quo.
Supporters of the hoary old white-haired sourassed sourpuss crank from Vermont and his thieving wife are a detriment to democracy and America because if things don't go the way they want them to, they take the ball and sulk home.
Unlike Republicans and regular Democrats who feel an obligation to support the nominees of their party even if they don't like them. (Examples: Nelson Rockefeller endorsing Barry Goldwater in 1964, or Eugene McCarthy endorsing Ronald Reagan in 1980.)
