If I remember correctly, I've heard him make some sympathic remarks about wingers in the past; so, I think that was it.

With all these high-paid on-air people getting the boot, broadcast media profitability might get  boost. Not that the hysterical partisanship will get dialed down ... the opposite seems more likely to me as the younger talking heads try to make a name for themselves and get careless.

Leftists are going to have to comfort themselves with the scalps of Ailes an O'Reilly (Matt Lauer doesn't count as a conservative, sorry dummies).

A rough estimate, a 10:1 ratio of leftists to conservatives getting crushed in this purge that was started with the expressed purpose of taking down the president.

Lauer, Weinstein, and company had to know what they were getting into when they cast their lots with liberalism. How the process goes is well documented. You're a god to them until they don't need you anymore, and then you're gone and they never heard of you. I have no sympathy for any of these high profile libs who enjoy riding the wave only to then crash and burn.

It as always worked before... except they have never met someone like President Trump and libbies should have never opened that door. My previous employer was a defense contractor. One annual time-wasting ritual was training against sexual harassment. It was a waste of an hour, every damned year. How long does it take to say, "Don't be an asshole! Treat fellow employees respectfully!" BTW, the training videos had a timing function that prevented people from skipping through the material and taking the common sense tests. You had to waste that hour!

So I'm thoroughly enjoying the rain of falling pompous entertainment, "news", and politicians whose hypocrisy finally caught up with them.\

I wonder, will the Oscars still have pompous hypocrites lecturing normal people about how we should live? Fox should do a "Fact-Checking the Oscars Speeches" program the following night.
