I'm not really a fan -- I go with my GF when she takes her grandson. I don't mind going, but it's never my first choice of things to do. I never had an issue with standing with my hand over my heart when the Star-spangled Banner plays. (Yeah, I know there are better songs, but you go to the game with the anthem you have, not the one you want.)

But now -- I feel if I do the traditional thing, I'm pledging loyalty to Twitler, but if I do something else, I'll drag the kid into some nastiness that he doesn't want or deserve or even understand.

Same for myself, when Presidents Clinton and Obama were in office.  The national anthem and the flag represent the country, not a person.

I can't understand the whites standing with blm and these thugs. they are people who would rob them, beat them to death and walk away laughing.

Personally I don't understand this social justice thing, it is like paying your fair share, but no one can give an exact amount. What is it they want? they already have more opportunity and rights than your average white person. We have affirmative action, the war on poverty, welfare and lots of other programs, isn't that enough?

We have been paying through the nose for over 60 years, it is time to say enough. as long as we keep yeilding to their demands it will never end.
none of the whiners ever had to pick cotton or put up with the democrats racism, they need to get a grip on reality, at some point it is going to turn ugly for them.

I'm hoping you off yourself tonite.  That national anthem playing when the flag is presented is not about President Trump, BLM or any other thing. It is about respecting the flag and the men and women who died for the country that flag and that song represents. Of which you are a citizen.  Don't want to respect the country? Then get the **** out and take those over paid athletes with you.

I hope the NFL dies as an organization and all the owners end up broke. Especially the Cowpukes owner.
