Does he just think he can do it because he thinks Dad will pardon him?

OK... I have been on the fence about these so called "leaks" for a while now.

Let us look at the latest one logically:

1. The lady lawyer was not, by her own admission, connected with the russian gov in any way.
2. Oppo research on a political opponent is nothing new, not illegal
3. The lady lawyer wanted access and got her 5 minutes, not illegal
4. No quid pro quo was ever agreed upon
5. No meeting of the minds was ever attained between the lady lawyer, the russians and the Trump campaign
6. Ergo no violation occurred.
7. The MSM hate President Trump like a scorned woman and will do anything, including sacrificing their credibility, to take him down.

Considering the above:

My conclusion leads me to believe that President Trump, or his advisors, are screwing with the MSM in a really devious way.

As for the leaks... I am beginning to really consider that President Trump is behind these so called leaks. Sorry but no one that has run an organization of the size President Trump has cannot do so without having some loyalty.

One could make a case that Jr. was a bit naive or taken in by a bait-and-switch, but he didn't bite on what the Russians really wanted from him. IOW, quite the opposite of something collusive.

As soon as I heard about the NYT's breathless new report of a gotcha-revelation, I knew it would turn out to be innocuous. I'm not prescient or brilliant, it just what has happened time after time after time ... after time. IOW, pattern recognition.

I would not be surprised if Trump (literally or metaphorically) is feeding some of this stuff to the MSM. He's been trolling them through Twitter for many months, leading them around like yappy poodles on leashes, so why not chum the MSM's kiddie pool a little? Let the American public see how credulous the MSM are, due to their hysterical hatred for him. OTOH, maybe the MSM's hate and credulity have birthed and nurtured a cottage Trump-Faux-Gotcha industry.

Regarding this point, you must remember that the people most likely to be doing the leaking are career government types, and are therefore, first and always loyal to the big gov't that PDT is working to rightsize. They are leaking to reduce his ability to cut their own jobs.
