So it's seems that the RWNJ's have finally taken over the Discussionist board.

Most progressives and liberals are hidden at will for little or nothing, while the Cons spew practically whatever they want. Appeals and reviews go unanswered and by looking at the thread titles in Politics and News, there seems to be only a scant few that are not RW Freeper insanity.

I realize that many view Discussionist as a toilet, but it is a DU sponsored board and it's a shame to see it made into a mockery by the lowest of the low.

I sometimes wonder how long this embarrassment will continue?

I enjoy playing with the wingers and morons. There are even a couple righties that can be civil and I particularly miss being able to chat with them. One is in the hospital right now and I wish I could post something to cheer him up or at least a hang-in-there bit of encouragement.

The funny thing is the 5 hides that got me in this position were mostly lame snarky replies to random threads. Not one of the 5 had anything to do with the idiot troll I usually get into it with (and that most of my hides both here and over there usually came from).

I miss being able to post EarlG's Pic of the Moments over there. Fun to watch them swarm attack and be completely unable to discuss or refute the point.

They seem to have a lock on the jury system there to shut down any opposing posts they don't like, effectively allowing them to "run" the place. There is very little discussion anymore, it's just a RW echo chamber.

The Right is known for ruining boards by doing stuff like this and I just think it's kind of embarrassing to allow it to continue.

(On edit: I'm not saying it should be shut down, just fixed a bit)

When 0bama was in power, you could hold a conversation...BUT, the moment Trump was inaugurated, they were caught up in the great tantrum of 2017. Their posts deteriorated into name calling, snark and hatred. One by one they were banned or quit. Some deliberately flamed out in a rage of offensive hate.

The OP title is correct. Dummies cannot handle normal people. They only thrive in a thought controlled environment.
