Even when Obama was daily finding new ways to disgrace the office of POTUS, I still loved my country and happily celebrated Independence Day every July 4th.
Know why (This is a point that the traitorous, hypocritical douche- nozzles at DU are apparently unable to grasp due to their psychotic obsession with politics)?
Because the United States of America, its flag, its principles, and what defines it are all things a LOT bigger than whoever happens to be occupying the Oval Office at any given point in time.
Who happens to be president has no impact on the fact that I am proud to be an American.
In contrast, the DUmmies and other such liberal scum's position on America changes depending entirely on who is in office. If it's one of theirs, they loudly shriek their patriotism (They echo Moo- chelle Obama's infamous statement of "For the first time in my adult life, I'm proud to be an American), proclaim that person defines America and is in fact America incarnate, and openly accuse any who disagree with that person's policies of "Treason." If it's a Republican, they loudly bash America as an evil, corrupt, racist Nazi nation populated entirely by brainless hillbillies that needs to be destroyed, obsessively dwell on every past negative incident in our history, openly fantasize about violent insurrection, and just generally vent their hatred of their own country.
This July 4th, I will be celebrating it. I'll make my barbecue hamburger recipe, watch a fireworks display, maybe shoot off some small fireworks of my own (Though I'll have to be careful about that, as I live in an apartment complex and am not sure on what the official policy on that is), perhaps watch something patriotic on TV (Hopefully they'll re- show the 'Sons of Liberty' miniseries from a few years back, I never watched Part 3 of that), and just generally have a great day, which I'd do regardless of who happened to be POTUS.
Meanwhile, the DUmmies and other ultra- libtards can just keep on shrieking about how deeply they hate America and its people, then earnestly wonder why they keep losing elections.
