If we are going to have a 50 state strategy, there are going to be losses. Focus on the big picture.
   
Kansas, Montana, Georgia, and South Carolina. All DEEP RED districts. But we fought. We contested. <---- We spent a ton of money. And we lost. Again. Of course it was going to be VERY hard to win these. <--- OTOH, it is sooo easy to lose these! But we did didn't do our job. We don't even have a job! This is the 50 state strategy. We were not very competitive in all any of them. We shifted the vote substantially. <----    We over-performed. <---- We made them fight for it <---  and we spend lots of money on these.

Everyone wants the 50 state strategy, right? Well, this is it. It is very hard to win these, but we should definitely be fighting for them. It bodes very well in the big picture. <----

2. Agreed. But we ALL have to be out there in 2017 (today) as well. . .
 
. . .and campaign for and vote for LOCAL candidates. These folks are often the bench from which we get the House/Senate/Governor candidates of the future.

This is exactly the district type we need to win. I live here, and the people are highly educated, employed, and many are skeptical about Trump.

We're not going to win many rural districts, so we have to capitalize on these suburban districts.

Otherwise known as the democrat 50 state semi-strategy!

If they expect to win outside of the already blue states they will need more of a message than "We hate Trump". Dems, how about telling the people what you plan to do for them and how you are planning on doing it.

As for a 50 state plan, then I would suggest they stop insulting and demeaning the people who work for a living and expect and ROI for who they vote for.
