If you hate Louise, you'll really hate this! Hatch getting security briefings
Now- why would some washed-up old lunatic Brit back-bencher be getting security briefings on US items of interest?
Exclusive: Several sources familiar with the matter say that Senator Orrin Hatch of Utah is being given security briefings to prepare him for the Presidency.

... wait... what?
Sources with links to the intelligence community described a sense of both inevitability and urgency over the unraveling of the Trump-Pence administration over their attempts to obstruct justice. “Trump’s presidency ended May 9th,” said one source, referring to the overtly politicized dismissal of FBI Director James Comey.
Sources? What sources? OH!.... UNNAMED sources...

Donald Trump and Mike Pence have both violated their oaths of office in plain sight over the unconstitutional dismissal of Director Comey, these sources say, and elements of the Judicial Branch are asserting the separation of powers described in the Constitution. This matter is separate from, and additional to, the substantive charges of collusion with the Russian state, and of money-laundering, sedition, violation of the Logan Act, and other crimes with which both Trump and Pence may be charged. As I exclusively reported earlier this week, Speaker Paul Ryan, normally third in the line of succession, will be excluded as the intelligence community has an intercept in which Ryan openly admits that he knew Sergei Kislyak was washing Russian money into the GOP. This will convict Ryan on RICO charges; as I have also exclusively reported this week, a RICO case exists against the GOP as a body. The raids earlier this week on a data and consulting firm close to Paul Manafort formed part of evidence gathering in this RICO case.

Separate sources with links to the intelligence and justice communities have stated that a sealed indictment has been granted against Donald Trump.
While it is understood that the Supremacy Clause of the Constitution means that, until Mr. Trump is impeached, he cannot be prosecuted, sources say that the indictment is intended by the FBI and prosecutors in the Justice Department to form the basis of Mr. Trump’s impeachment. The indictment is, perhaps uniquely, not intended or expected to be used for prosecution, sources say, because of the constitutional position of the President.
Two separate sources with links to the intelligence community say that the first arrests in the criminal and counter-intelligence probe will shortly take place, possibly as soon as Thursday, May 11th.
Following the unconstitutional dismissal of FBI Director James Comey, which Donald Trump both explicitly linked to his own investigation for criminal collusion in Russia’s hacking of the American election, US and State Attorneys General are, intelligence sources say, about to make their move.
Sources confirm the exclusive reporting of Claude Taylor on Twitter that the majority of sealed indictments have been handed down in the Southern District of New York, with four sealed indictments in the Eastern District of Virginia. CNN – while wrongfully claiming an exclusive on both Taylor’s original news breaking and the first mainstream reporter to cover the news, Keith Olbermann – nonetheless confirmed last night, Tuesday, May 9th, that subpoenas were issued from the Eastern District of Virginia against associates of General Flynn.
yeah.... that didn't go so well, did it. Oh, well... DUmpmonkiez gotta do what a DUmpmonkiez gotta do.

68. I want go think she is wired in a bit, but she is FAR too loose with definitive statements
of impeachment, in addition to things like this about 45 being "removed from office."
There is one way and one way only that he gets impeached or "removed" and it takes the House drawing up and voting to approve articles of impeachment and the Senate then voting in the affirmative of his guilt of specific charges that rise to the level of impeaching him.
There is no secrete or magic individual or group of individuals, there is an insanely partisan (and many likewise compromised) asshole republicans who would not remove 45 or any R at this point in congress ...

3. Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! Whoa!
Maybe this is why Ryan and McConnell are so silent.
Must have their attorneys on speed dial even if this report is not completely accurate.
Some of the fallout from trump/Russia is going to touch them.

14. There will be more coming on this little stink bomb.
Russian money going to Ryan and McConnell as well as captured e-mails used in Election Campaigns. Mensch and Steele are the real deal. Just follow the Foreign Press.

6. How did Pence violate his oath of office when Trump fired Comey?
And how was the dismissal of Comey "unconstitutional"?
And if there aren't enough repubs ready to ask for a special prosecutor, how is it that Trump, Pence and Ryan are so close to being removed from office?
Oh, I know. It's because this story is crapola.

9. That's just dumb.
Even if Trump, Pence and Ryan were all removed from office, it would not happen simultaneously and the House would rush to name a new Speaker to be next in line for the job.

42. But suppose it did happen instantly, all the same day, for legal reasons. That is Mensch's
scenario. The remaining Congress, even some Republicans, would turn
against them to save their own hides.

12. And who authorized security briefings for Hatch?
Isn't that the prerogative of the president to decide who gets those top level briefings? So, we're supposed to believe that Trump approved cutting Hatch in because he knows his days are numbered... or maybe it was Trump's lapdog, Sessions that did it???
Meh... Nancy Drew Mysteries have better plotlines than this fiction.

13. I believe every *******ed word she says.
Mostly because it has the ring of truth.
Wish-fulfillment? Well, duh. So far, she's been stellar spot on. My wife the journalist with the standard journalist's 'believe nothing' credo says so.
And the horde of 'don't listen to Louise!' posters makes me think it's on the verge. One of the tells is the tendency to purposefully obfuscate corroborated facts and misstate procedure. Hyperbolic pleas to look away because it 'hurts our credibility'. This crew is really sharp, much better than the old 'Purge the Party' trolls, but they all echo the same script.
Lot of Democratic Undergrounders these days with blank icons insisting that it's all so silly and we better stick to submitting to Doom.
Yeah. Pardon me while I watch the Collapse of King White Nationalism.

65. It's all in the hyperbole. Skepticism, fine. 'Complete fantasy that will kill us all', not.
Coupla newbies with blank avatars making this the Central Issue Of Our Day -- shrilly proclaiming that we shall not listen to a single word they say or face our death because it matters most what Republicans will think of us --
Mineral Man can express himself on this issue and I do not flinch at all; it's a reasonable skepticism he expresses.
Others -- I can read the subtext pretty clearly, and it's an agenda.

17. If this were true...
It would quite possibly throw the country into a major tailspin that I don't know we could recover from. 35% of the country would never believe it. There would be massive violance and rioting. The markets would go into a free fall.
I want 45 out of office. And Pence scares me to death. But to have a scandal on this scale would be devistating.
And Hatch does not have the leadership skills to pull the country together.

36. I wish but....A president can't be arrested before being impeached. If those that are his successors are charged with a crime they do not have to resign. They can do so after trial. It will take quite some time to bring this all to trial. For these reasons I can't believe that story.
Let me throw a monkey wrench into your love fest...
EVEN if anyone is convicted- and that ain't gonna happen, All Trump has to do is pardon them. If the leftists bitch just bring up Manning.

58. Sorry, but every single Congressional Republican must resign first after the Trump debacle.
Hatch will not qualify at all for Presidency because he will not have the Pro-Tem seat anymore.
Now, see! That's a proper leftist purge.
