Seven people, including one pregnant woman, were killed in separate shootings in the same Chicago neighborhood in just 24 hours, police have said.

A 27-year-old man and 23-year-old woman were shot dead after a black Jeep pulled up alongside their van around 11pm in the city's South Shore neighborhood on Thursday. The van crashed during the shooting and the two died at the scene.

That afternoon around 3.30pm, two men were fatally shot in Nadia Fish and Chicken restaurant after a man approached the victims and opened fire, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

More senseless violence in Chicago. Where is the outrage for this????????????????????

They're all sad, especially for the lady who lost her two sons on one day in the one shooting incident. But don't bother calling BLM about the victims who are black. They only care about the very very few blacks who are killed by police. Besides, the next Presidential election is over 3 1/2 years away (MLK didn't protest for a year and a half and then go quiet!).

I don't understand why no one wants to connect the dots: 1. make police the enemy; 2. refuse to cooperate with police in investigations of murder and other crimes; 3. attack police when they do their jobs well; 4. murderous thugs whose skin is "black" run wild.

Perhaps we're saying the same thing different ways, but I see this as the left trying desperately to keep us divided. What better way to do that than to attack a common denominator like the cops? There are plenty of stupid thugs who are more than willing to ambush - and kill - cops who momentarily have their defenses down.
