Trump's obvious deterioration must be even more clear to those up close and personal. My bet is that Ivanka has been installed to (try) keep him upright and on a working path.

Any body language experts here? I bet there's subtle clues she's now going to project that will clue in her dad to "shut up", or with a sideways look to indicate to "defer to that guy" etc.

Her presence at high level meetings with Merkel, Abe, and Trudeau also tells me she's there to help her dad by running interference, to clarify any bizarre statements, keep his responses sane when he grossly misinterprets others with his notoriously thin skin and hair trigger temper.

I wonder at the dynamic between her and Bannon - that will be a big factor. Are they collegial or adversarial? Does Ivanka share Bannon's warped worldview? Oh to be a fly on the wall...

I suspect that one day Ivanka will be President and maybe even the first woman President. That though should ruffle some lib feathers.
