http://www.discussionist.com/10151199961Oh my.
Yeah, they
really are going to do it.
****ing idiots.
I mean, I love, I
love the Republican party with a passion, with an ardor, with an intensity, but I love the two-party system even more. It's not healthy for a free people to devolve into a one-party state.
But with the Democrats insisting upon committing mass suicide, what's a Republican to do?

Are the Democrats REALLY going to select a Farrakhan loving, Malcom X wannabe Muslim as DNC Chair?
Please, God...
Just when I was afraid the Dems might fix their party and threaten our power in D.C... they show how stupid they really are.
Ellison conflates Muslims with Christians regarding terrorism.
Ellison voted against Iran sanctions.
Ellison referred to himself as Keith X.
Ellison had a cozy relationship with the Nation of Islam until political pressure forced him to make a token speech condemning them.

1. They have to, otherwise they will be accused of being racists.

2. But they are
racists, its in the fabric of their ideology to give preference to someone based on race.

3. Does that mean they will start every DNC
meeting with a muslim call to prayer?
Well, if I were a female Democat--for which I thank God I'm not--I'd at least be concerned about the probable imposition of a certain dress-code for women.

4. They ran Hillary Clinton for President. Twice. What does that tell you?

5. Nail in the coffin. Do it.
They don't need any urging. They're going to do it no matter what anyway.

6. Worried?
Well, franksolich is, and I'm not being facetious in saying so.
It's always good for Republicans to be the dominant party, but it's never good for one party to be the
only party because the other one voluntarily self-destructed.

7. Right now it's a horse race !
Rep. Keith Ellison (Minn.) has the edge over former Labor secretary Tom Perez in The Hill’s new survey of DNC members. But while both men claim they are close to securing commitments from the majority of the 447 voting members, neither candidate is assured victory.

Oh rabbi, rabbi, rabbi, you haven't changed a bit the past several years.
With all due respect, sometimes you're still
meshuga, rabbi, sir.

Ellison, co-chair of the Congressional Progressive Caucus and a supporter of Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) during the 2016 presidential primary, was racking up endorsements not only from Sanders and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), but establishment figures as well, including Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) and Randi Weingarten, president of the American Federation of Teachers — both of whom backed Hillary Clinton in the primary.

The people on DU are pulling for Tom Perez and over at Jack Pine they want Keith Ellison. The vote is this Saturday. I hope it's on CSPAN.
