New York Governor, Andrew Cuomo gave a speech a couple weeks back to show his solidarity with Muslims after Trump’s travel ban. On Sunday, Muslims and Muslim sympathizers also protested in Times Square. Governor Cuomo posted the video of his speech to his Twitter account using the hashtag #IAmAMuslimToo to show support for the protesters. In his speech celebrating ‘diversity’, he praised Jews and Muslims while excluding Christians.

Dandy Andy knows that he needs to win re-election in 2018 if he has any hope of winning the Democrat nomination for President in 2020.  So, he panders to 'fringe' groups that he hopes will deliver votes for him in the 2018 election in NYS.  He also knows that several groups are going to vote for him no matter what.  The problem with the NYS Republicans is that there's no viable candidate to challenge him at the moment.  Then again, George Pataki (who is responsible for the current state of the NYS Republican Party) came out of nowhere to beat Cuomo's father in 1994.  Anything can happen.  Let's remember that President Trump asked Preet Bharra (sp?) to stay on in the US Attorney's office in Manhattan, and that Bharra's investigations are responsible for a fair number of Cuomo associates now being charged with Federal felonies.
