It is ****ing relentless.
Name an issue you care about and it gets hit.
Just today we saw the first death blow to public schools and the final go-ahead to the desecration of a an American first nation's land.
Count on 1,461 such days, Stinker, maybe even double that. It's called having a President of the opposite political party.
Public schools will not be going away, though teacher's unions and educrats have been working hard to make them a stench in the nostrils of the American public. Betsy DeVos' confirmation was a significant blow to teacher's unions. OTOH, there's a very good chance that she will bring improvement for school students, in all manners of public and private education settings.
IIRC, the pipeline which was approved will not be built on Indian lands, and the section(s) in question will be adjacent to several existing pipelines. This whole Indian lands thing is a red herring, an attempt to block a reduction of US dependence on ME oil.
