As someone said upthread: if a life of military and political service isn't "real work," then there are some prominent Democrats who
fail that criteria as well. Some VERY prominent ones.

Working for the government is actual work. Like many jobs, it is possible to do it poorly. When done well, in proper service, it's a
noble career.

Hell; most all of the DUers would shit themselves just sitting with their hands in their ****ing laps in the right seat, during a night carrier landing.  I think I would even volunteer to clean out the cockpit afterwards, just to watch that.
