And here was the root of my pain. This wasn’t just about the disappointment that my candidate lost. Or the fear of what Trump will do to this country. It felt like my very soul hurt and I realized that it was because of what this election said to me as a woman. It said no.
No, woman, stay in your place. No, woman, you are not good enough. No, woman, no matter what you do, you will not win, you will not be the boss of me.

It crushed a part of my female core to realize that yes, the world at large really does hate women that much. And while there are other reasons to dislike Hilary Clinton and disagree with her policies, misogyny and sexism are the gas that fuels the fire they burned her with.

We are supposed to stay quiet and not ask for much. Stay in our place and say please and thank you and don’t challenge anyone. We must be perfect, ten times more perfect than the man beside us. And then we must wait for them to give us permission to follow their orders.

I swear to God, I have no idea how these idiots are able to dress and feed themselves. Such special snowflakes.

NO, the world at large does not hate women, unless you include muslims, who do, but they're off limits to you. The world doesn't want liars, theives (Clinton Foundation), lawyers who destroy a 12 year old girl to get her rapist off, then laugh about it. We don't want someone who is untrustworthy who couldn't care less about anyone and only loves herself.

Go to your safe space, grab a coloring book and some crayons, cuddle with your soft fuzzy stuff animal and put on soothing music. You don't deserve to be an adult.

Liberals. Disgust. Me.

I've finally made it to the acceptance stage of grief, but I too have gotten sick, run a fever, and felt terribly depressed.

Dear idiot,

If your gender led you to believe that the only reason for opposing Hillary was her gender rather than a vehement disagreement over her vision of American plus her corruption then your gender has proven itself so weak as to justify the very oppression you complain about.

The only thing that keeps your gender from deserving the oppression you imagine you suffer is the fact that so many conservative women are strong, self-determined individuals who command and deserve our respect and admiration. I would stack any 1 female regular here at CC against any 100 feminist idiots who would identify with your article. They will out-perform you and yours in every measure of human worth.
