The "fly-overs" crying for repeal of the ACA
How many of them have not lost their life savings due to protections the ACA has given them?
How many even realize these protections?
Outlawing the practice of capping (limiting) coverage amounts should you get a catastrophic illness, disease, or accident.
Outlawing denial if coverage due to a pre-existing condition.
Outlawing insurance companies from dropping you should you get sick.
Rust belt, fly over, rural, or whatever you want to call them have some of the most willfully ignorant people in our country.
And not just there either...they are everywhere...the stupid is thick.
2/3 of the country refused to join the boondoggle. Of those that did 3/4 have gone toes up. of those that remain choices have been reduced to 1 or 2 carriers. Of those 1 or 2 carriers policyholders watch each year as the premiums skyrocket.
All as predicted by us but they have the gall to call us stupid.

2. I disagree.
The GOP will find a way to convince these soon to be uninsured people that it is all President Obama's fault.
It is not Obama's fault.
We blame the entirety of the Democratic party.
Which is why your party's power is cratering hard and fast.

8. That's why it's vital for Democrats to be far more vocal.
It's not possible for you tantrum throwing infants to be "more vocal."

14. this is truth
The Fox Blondes will be working overtime to convince the human racist colostomy bags is all Obama's fault.
I think you found your 2018 campaign theme.

6. Sometimes children need to learn a painful lesson, like losing their health care
Remember how you guys predicted Trump would lose and if he did win the stock market would crash.
Just like your every prediction about global warming or the prosperity of Venezuela.

25. Yet we pay the price.
I am on ACA.
And what a loss you would be.

9. Well obviously I can't
Match the sophistication of a person such as yourself who is from a place that REALLY MATTERS, do take a moment to consider that my fellow peasants have been led astray by a member of the costs aristocracy.
It's not entirely their fault at having been hoodwinked by a rapscalion with cosmopolitan city ways. The unrefined bumpkins needed to have another manor-borne protect them from such deceit. Unfortunately the blackguard's words were unopposed by those flying over...

15. While I never underestimate
The stupidity of the average voter, perhaps Democrats should devote some attention to that which is within as well as without.
Some of us cautioned against over optimism. We were assured every poll indicating the election is close was right wing propaganda or the media trying to keep people interested because a Democratic victory was inevitable.
Months ago I made the statement "Never assume victory". I wish my apprehension was less prescient.
Now post election all we here is how the votes were hacked (with zero evidence at this time) and stupid white voters (who we were told are an irrelevant block). The language used to describe the South, Midwest and West (except California of course) sounds like 19th century missionaries talking about the savages they are trying to convert.
No one seems to consider for a moment that the Democratic message failed to reach a wider audience because is couldn't cut through the hubris and arrogance.
Once we were the Party of the working class. Today we call those same people 'ignorant', 'stupid', 'racist' and 'children'. But we are sure they will learn a lesson and return...

24. Corporate power owns the airwaves
You can't stop people from being brainwashed by it.
Pretty hopeless really as I see it.
Dissect this for a moment...

28. They don't even know that Medicare was improved by the ACA
you get a yearly physical and other things like a colonoscopy for no charge. A friend of mine
had a business and paid for his own insurance. He told me him and his wife both got a
colonoscopy a few years ago and had to pay out $5000 because of the high deductibles. Last year
under Obamacare they both had a colonoscopy for free. He is happy it saved him $5000.
And, of course it never dawned on you that other people are paying for that.
The only words coming out of your mouth should be "Thank" and "you" and in that order.

33. How is that working for you calling people stupid?
Trump is POTUS elect.
There is a GOP majority in the House, Senate, state Governorships, and most State houses.
The Democratic party has lost or willfully marginalized many life long Democratic party members.
There are flaws in ACA and universal health care was never truly "on the table".
There has to be a better way than calling people stupid.
Perhaps educate, pay attention to other's sensitivities and needs, and practice inclusion rather than belittle?

... the voters kept booing him through my entire administration.
Said the people who still blame Bush.
