Too, too funny...
I work for a federal agency, so although some colleagues and I talked about the election beforehand, it was all very low key; we aren't allowed to advocate for one candidate or the other in partisan elections. Some of my favorite times after the 2012 Democratic convention was asking my liberal colleagues, mostly African-American, to take down the pictures of Obumbles that they kept on their desks, as once he was the nominee again, those pictures equaled endorsement. But I digress.
Early in the evening on election night, I went upstairs to put out my clothes for the next day...as I did in 2008 and 2012, I put out my black suit...my not-so-subtle sign of mourning at the election results. You can probably imagine how happy I was to put it back in the closet on Wednesday morning, choosing instead to don my red suit for the day.
I also took great pleasure in pointing at Obumbles' picture and laughing as I badged into the lobby that day.
