My personal theory on some of the Hillary Hate: Nothing to back it up.
I'm not dismissing sexism and all the regular theories. They're all true, of course.

Yesterday I spoke to a woman from a state that's true blue but she voted for the orangatan anyway. She just hates the Clintons too much to notice what a crook and liar fRump is.

It occured to me that there might be a reason some people like her can't tolerate the Cintons. Not saying I'm right, but I could be. We'll never know.

If we didn't know the exact, (ahem.) true, detailed nature of the contact (widely known) between Bill and Monica, some people might have gotten over it. If they had just called it "an affair" it might not have had this effect on some people.

In this case, I believe this woman is so sexually repressed, she's absolutely repulsed buy Bill's behavior, to the point that she's blinded by disgust and rage. She's willing to overlook the grabbing p&**^%$ video because the finer details of Bill's contact, you know what I mean, totally freak her out. I mean, honestly, she just can't hear it or deal with it. She's not making a political statement or excuse: It's literally beyond her ability to even hear about this sexual activity. So, when a president was accused of it, she realized it made her react childishly and she's ashamed of herself.

She admitted to me that liberals look down on people like her: the shame she felt from us was her hangup. I"ve knonw this woman for years. She's not a poser. She can't lie. She's totally honest. She honestly can't handle grown-up sex talk and that repulsed her from voting for Hillary.

Don't tell me it's irrational- Of course it's irrational. She's not stupid. She's hung up.

Just an idea. I am NOT blaming this outcome on Bill. The lying and racism brought out all of the fRump voters. But at least in this case, it's the only thing I can think of that explains her blindness to the ugliness of fRump.

3 lower-rung, uneducated women at work told me they're undecided today. I was shocked.
We're in education but they're the un-trained staff.

I said, "You would honestly consider giving fRump the nuclear codes and the supreme court?"

They had no idea what those 2 things were or why they should care.

ve ever done. They're just not curious, they're uninformed, and they prefer it that way. I was not trying to insult anyone, including them. They have no ambition and know nothing outside their town or their families. They live in small, insulated worlds. They work very hard in a difficult situation for very little money, no opportunity to move up, no pension, no healthcare, no benefits.

I was illustrating a Trump voter: No one here who wades through deep, complex, historic ideas and practices.

If you decide to be insulted, have fun. But I was talking about 3, count them, 3 women. That's it.

If you want to count yourself among them, that's your business.

That's an interesting choice of words, "admitted."  Like it was her own fault, and she'd done something wrong. 

A couple of interesting word choices. "lindysalsagal" may have been blaming her friend for having that accurate perception. Or maybe her friend, unbeknownst to "lindysalsagal", was trying to be kind and "lindysalsagal" pried this "admission" from her.

What "lindysalsagal" calls a "hangup" is a normal human reaction to years of being berated by smug arrogant A-holes like "lindysalsagal". Especially the Ballot-Box Revenge part.

Concur. The SHREW's record as SecState was poison. Her record as Senator was minimal. A message of, "Four more years of the same," was unpalatable. "I am not the Evil Trump-Monster," was pretty much all that was left, and that invited a comparison in which she was the loser.

I've said for years - elsewhere - that, "I am not ______," is a losing message and strategy for the Rs, and that instead R candidates need to present and focus on who they are and what they will do. The SHREW demonstrated that point.
