I'm so freaking terrified

Of a tRump win I can't sleep or eat. My stomach is in a twist. I need to turn off the TV....but I can't. I wish he would just keel over with a massive coronary and die. Oh I shouldn't say that.

2. Welcome to DU. Relax though. Trump is going to lose spectacularly.

America is not that crazy to elect that clown.

America is was not that crazy to elect someone who should be wearing a prison jumpsuit, as it turns out.

11. He won't win and this is why....I just posted this in another thread...

But there is a Clinton Coalition...

Hispanics, Blacks, Asians, Whites...and Republicans crossing over. I know of several Repub's that are crossing party lines in this election. I see plenty of similar stories on here about this subject. That is the hidden Hillary vote and Trashbag is going to get thrashed on Tuesday. I really believe America is going to come through.

Do you hear of any Democrats crossing party lines to vote for Trump...I mean LOL LOL.

So HOW can he win? He can't and won't. All this early voting...just know that a percentage of those Republicans are not voting Republican!! He's gonna get REAMED.

I hope you feel better now.

LOL LOL.

12. I haven't been this scared since the Cuban Missile Crisis.

Granted, I was just a kid then, and didn't know what was really going on (which turned out to be even worse than we knew at the time), but there was this sense of impending doom that was really frightening. Lately I'm a little more encouraged about the probability of Trump losing badly, and I feel a little better, but the idea of him winning is really horrifying in almost the same existential thread sort of way.

13. Panic is rarely useful

Pause, take a deep breath, realize Clinton is in a solid position to win, vote on Tuesday if you haven't, and encourage people you know who are leaning toward Clinton to vote as well.

After that, it's up to the counting on Tuesday. Panic doesn't do anything to make that happen faster or work out in the correct fashion.

24. How do you know what someone else's emotional state is?

Maybe you aren't as intensely disturbed, but why not respect the reactions of others? I'm very worried, too; and I know others who are very distressed.

Correction: You are ALL intensely disturbed.  Continuing on:

30. Well, let's look at it this way - Clarence Darrow is said to have remarked:

"I have never wished for a man's death, but I have read some obituaries with great pleasure." If a certain somebody had a coronary I must confess that I'd read that obituary with a smile.

18. First thing you should do is turn off the televisions national news programs

they are worthless.

If you are able, go down to the nearest Democratic headquarters and see what you can do. You might be able to help people with rides to the polls. They may have you do phone banking to GOTV or some other volunteer activity.

It is too late today to do something, but they will be phone banking for sure throughout all the offices tomorrow, and even on election day

Of course it depends on your schedule. If you work, then go in before and after you work. Become part of the campaign to GOTV and we will win

48 hours later at the "nearest Democratic headquarters",  this scene played out all over the country:
