Skins' primitives nervously concerned

Oh dear.

That Newsweek article, whatever it's about, must've been a real doozey, to get the primitives all wrought up like this.

This morning I am nervously concerned. Forget about the election It is for the United States of America. The Newsweek article should have every military installation in the country and its allies on alert. Then you wake to a Huffington Post article that outlines an out of control FBI that is allegedly in cahoots with Trump through Rudy Guiliana's contacts in the agency. I don't know what the president, the justice department, and even the CIA are doing, but somebody needs to reassure the public. WTF?

1. I've been saying this for months...

I don't fear as much a trump win (I don't want him to win. to be clear) as I truly fear a trump loss.

2. If anything does happen, they need to start arresting people for

sedition and/or treason, depending on what they do. That whole Bundy bullshit has just emboldened them and it's time to drop the hammer.

3. "depending on what they do"

You can arrest them for treason if they have actually committed acts of treason -- not just for frothing at the mouth and engaging in hate speech. Rounding them up for anything less than actual prosecutable crimes would confirm their most outrageous conspiracy theories.

8. Well, duh. The 1st Amendment still holds. It's the actions, not the blathering

I'm worried about. Although, one could credibly argue that Republicans have already crossed the sedition line. Remember the Iran letter? Trump joking about assassination?

I don't see one, but just because I don't see one doesn't mean there's not one there.

Do we have a smiley indicating mock horror?

7. I saw this on facebook..

Democracy is like tinkerbell, it only works when you believe in it. Republicans have been beating up on that belief for a very long time and it's working. Time to fight back.

9. Everyone who loves our democratic-republic...

...should be very disturbed with what we're seeing. It's been a long time coming. The Republicans totally disregard the rule of law and Democrats in power have allowed it. It's like a frog in boiling water only now the frog realizes he's in trouble.

How do you undo all this ugliness? How many people in the FBI need to be "purged", and if they are, what will they be up to as civilians?

Hate groups won't be going away anytime soon, and civilized, reasoned discourse has been tossed out the window. The TV media conglomerates have seen the billions raked in from their ridiculously skewed coverage devoid of relevant issues. My heart hurts for "America".

Using your words, primitive: If what the Dems are doing is considered to be a "democratic-republic", then it's doomed to be a failure. The only rule of law with Dems is "voluntarily do what we say, or you'll either be forced to do what we say, or you'll be done away with". Your form of governing has nothing to do with freedom, justice, liberty, or morality. It's our Constitutional duty to oppose you.

Liberal thinking is a two-legged stool and magical thinking is one of the legs, the other is a combination of self-loating and misanthropy.  To understand it, you would have to be able to sit on that stool while juggling two elephants, an anvil and a fragmentation grenade, sans pin.

NewSpeak is still around?

Yeah, but as an internet-only "magazine;" no tree's destroyed to produce it any more.

I wandered over to NewSpeak, and their current top-of-the-webpage article is the CHILL Screeching Point that Putin loves Trump. The idea that Putin favors Trump is absurd on its face, given how weak Obama-Clinton foreign policy has been. Why in Hades would Putin want a POTUS who would be stronger than The CHILL?

That's what I don't understand, myself.

It seems to me the leader of a country trying to undermine the United States would prefer we had a backboneless president such as we've had the past eight years.

And that, is why you fail.
It's exactly what is required to stay sovereign and free.
Not to mention, I thank GOD we don't live under a democracy. We've all seen the calls for opposition arrest and execution... and we know you aren't joking. Consider the peaceful election our best effort to avoid the unthinkable. Yes, this is a coup, make no mistake.

You know I'm coming around to the DUchebag's point of view, let's start rounding up the leftists after Trump wins.
When you are the beneficiary of someone’s kindness and generosity, it produces a sense of gratitude and community.

When you are the beneficiary of a policy that steals from someone and gives it to you in return for your vote, it produces a sense of entitlement and dependency.

What the DUmbshit does not realize is that if the sedition laws were still on the books all the idiots that currently make up the island would be locked up at a minimum.  :thatsright:
