Talk turned to politics and the overriding theme was Trumps instability and what it has and will do to the financial markets. We had a representative from a large investment firm speaking. He talked about the fear of Trump in his industry. They fear instability. They said Clinton is more of the same which is viewed fondly.

I have not fact checked this and don't know how true it is.

He stated markets almost immediately dropped %1.5 after Comey sent his letter. He stated in his industry that alone is frightening.

He also stated our election is directly influencing Mexico's currency. Good news for Trump or bad news for Clinton alone is shifting the value.

I left with a very positive attitude. This was a conservative environment and there was no positive talk about Trump. It was all negative about him from the members.

I received a message on my implants this morning from E. F. Hutton.  He said if Hillary wins to invest in commodities: lead, brass, sulfur, charcoal, and, saltpeter.   :fuelfire:

It is my opinion that the market averages have fallen because there will be a way to invest to make money if HRC wins, and a whole other way to invest to make money if DJT wins, and the smart folks are selling out of current positions in order to have ready cash to buy into the "correct" new position early.

I have absolutely no evidence for this.  Just a feeling based on hazy memories of recent history.

I think you're dead on.  Supposedly, if Trump wins, the market's going to dump 10% in a hurry.  That means, get cash ready to 'short' a whole bunch of stocks.

Yup.
Trump thinks interest rates need to be higher (I agree).  People should be able to get a decent rate on their savings.
