My daughter will never meet Trump.
But WW2, Vietnam, the Cold war, Somalia, Beirut, Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and Libya taught me you should never leave US military lives in the hands of Dem traitors.
Korea could be added to that list.
RE WW2, 9 years of gutting the Army's and Navy's budget left those forces with a lot of equipment that were obsolescent (four-piper DDs, Omaha class CLs, S## class submarines, P-36s & P-40s, B-18s (not a typo), tanks that were almost jokes (e.g. the M3 Lee, with a 37mm gun in its turret, and a low velocity 75mm gun mounted in the chassis with limited traverse; or the M2 medium, with a 37mm main gun, which was obsolete when it entered service in 1940), and woefully under-trained forces (e.g. Savo Island, Kasserine Pass). Then there's the Mark XII, XIV, and XV naval torpedoes, which were wonders, except for the depth-keeping mechanism, magnetic exploder, and contact exploder all being defective,
defects that could have been discovered during peace time, had the things been adequately tested in realistic use! US Army, Navy, Marines, and Army Air Corp personnel paid for FDR's New Deal programs with their blood.
