"Last night I was 'grossly generalistic,' and that's never a good idea. I regret saying 'half' -- that was wrong," Clinton said in a statement in which she also vowed to call out "bigotry" in Trump's campaign.

The Democratic presidential nominee sparked an uproar late Friday when she described Trump's supporters at a fundraiser.

I hope this gets posted on DU. It'll have them blowing chunks, split between frothing rage that she apologized and wink-wink-'splainin' that she didn't really mean what she said when she apologized. The latter would, IMO, be quite correct.

Hi,

What is laughable is in explaining her way out of it she dug herself in deeper.

She is really not a smart woman, with the exception of finding ways to break rules and get away with it
