Another Open Question for Lurking Progs
« on: September 10, 2016, 09:48:26 AM »
The recent Facebook posting of a picture taken by a gym employee of a naked overweight woman was denounced as "fat-shaming". It was an invasion of the woman's privacy and of the woman's trust of the gym, and should have been condemned on that basis. The gym employee is now a former employee.

With that as the context, here's my question. If displaying to the world that woman's fatness is "fat-shaming", how is Mooch-chelle Obama's "Let's move" campaign, menus imposed on school lunches, and the attending publicity not the social-"crime" of fat-shaming?

Are you Libs and Progs principled? Or do you just make shit up according to your feelings of the moment?

Don't bother with those last two questions. I've long known the answers.
If The Vaccine is deadly as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, millions now living would have died.

Yes and two opposites at the exact same time often.

I believe the Progs would tell you the gym employee was pointing to a particular person and holding her up for ridicule, while the First Wookie was not.

Progs would say that fat-shaming one person is wrong, but fat-shaming hundreds of thousands or millions of people is OK? [Sarcasm] Makes sense to me! [/Sarcasm] And I could easily believe at least some Progs would say exactly that!

Yeah, pretty much.  I think the whole 'Shaming-shaming' thing has gone on way too long and gone way too far, it's getting in the same ridiculosity zone as microagrression and trigger warnings.

Light up a cigarette within visual distance of one of them and watch the circus that follows. "Individual shaming" isn't their issue, contrary to their claims. Their rules have no guidelines, it's whatever they make up on the fly.
The leftists emotional deficiencies and lack of any other recognizable accomplishment in life builds this undying desire to be a hero, by any means necessary up to and including manufacturing their own victims that they can then "save" from some the boogeyman (also usually manufactured).
Sort of like flying into Bosnia "under fire". If you are incapable of actually doing something meaningful, just make some crap up and play make-believe, then sit back and revel in the applause from the rest of the role-playing comrades in your little club.
