But beyond our five senses, reality is also what is generally believed to be what is occurring, what has occurred in the past, and that which has never occurred.In the current presidential campaign, one candidate, Hillary Clinton, deals with what has actually occurred. She deals with reality. She is informed, open to learning, experienced in the ways of the world and, although she has many flaws, she is a fully competent human being who recognizes reality and has the ability to deal with it. Yet after 8 years in the Senate and 4 as Sec of State didn`t know what a classification symbol was and is now having to parse things by claiming it was all good because it didn`t have a bright read CLASSIFIED header.Her opponent, Donald Trump, is an uninformed man who makes things up as he goes along. His “reality†is whatever he decides it is at any moment. His knowledge of domestic and world affairs approaches zero.But to many, Trump’s “reality,†and his lack of information and judgement is meaningless. He knows how to whip up a mob into a frenzy. He knows how to make up things that will please them, even if he states the exact opposite in the very next sentence. To this man, reality is whatever he says it is at any given moment. To him, the only “reality†he cares about is being idolized by the masses. To sum it up, Donald Trump is a narcissistic, ignorant, hollow man who cares about no one and nothing on this planet but himself.It would seem that the decision of voters would be simple during this election cycle. But many humans are gullible, uninformed, and want what’s best for themselves and their families. Put more bluntly, they are ripe for any con-artist who comes along and promises them whatever it is they want to hear. And that is sufficient for them. They don’t question whether or not he can deliver on his promises. “Reality†never enters their thinking. Who was it that ran on "hope and change?So what do we do? Hope that those voters who can’t or won’t deal with reality are in the minority and that their current “Great Leader†will be crushed in the election?Hope isn’t enough. And if you believe in “reality†you must do anything and everything to ensure that Trump never comes to power. Stop for a moment and think. You have a phone and you can get involved in calling voters. If you have a car, you can volunteer to take people to the polls. You can go to Town Hall meetings (if you have them) and speak out your beliefs.Here’s the bottom line. Do you want to live in Donald Trump’s “reality?†Or do you want to live in a reality that would never, ever allow a “President Trump?â€

Not going to happen. The Left doesn't have the balls to take up arms, their revolt will be limited to Twitter and FB. The Right may hate the result but that alone won't make them take up arms, it is not in their ideological DNA...not that they couldn't be provoked into it, but it would take something much more extreme than a bad election result to actually get them shooting mad.

That's a thankless task and looks too much like work and they would have to weather the abuse, just like a real job. Besides, hardly anybody picks up the phone anymore unless they know the number. Chews up too many minutes and there's too much spam besides. A long time ago, you advised me and mine to get a gun. Advise taken.

The last civil war was disastrous for the US – not just in lives and destruction of property, but in turning what had been a truly positive political structure instantly into something much more corrupt. I see no reason to think that another civil war won't do the same.Yes, we are being pushed towards another civil war quite deliberately. Resist the push. Figure out the real problem and go after it. I do not know exactly what the problem is, but it certainly seems to be a small group of fantastically wealthy and evil people who are using the rest of us like a sociopathic 10-year-old might fry ants. These people need to be identified and blocked from power. Soros seems to be a prominent person among them, but the various other usual suspects seem likely to be the problem as well.
