So I was in Barnes and Noble the other day...

 
...and my brother called and told me he didn't realize the RNC had been going on that week and I said, "You aren't missing anything. Just Joanie Loves Chaci calling Obama a Muslim and a lot of other general insanity." My brother started laughing but I said this as some guy was walking by--yeah, that guy, the guy you never see in B/N: white, baseball cap with racing logo, checkered shirt. He looked at me hard as I said this.

Later when I went and got a coffee he sat at a table two rows over and kept staring at me with this angry look on his face. Just say it, I thought. Finally while he was staring at looked up at him and said, "What?" He turned away and then got up and stormed out. I was having a good time but maybe I could have been shot.

This is the pattern of the closet "Trump" supporters. They know they'll face ridicule on some level if they acknowledge their support but they stroke it like a forbidden closeted fetish. When I was still sitting in university classes two months ago, even the Republican students would tell you how much they didn't like Hillary but if you asked them if they supported Trump, they would say they supported Rubio. I'd say, "Didn't he get knocked out a month ago?"

on a different note, I thought I saw someone wearing a red "Make America Great Again" baseball cap at a bus stop yesterday, but on a closer look, it actually said, "Make America GAY Again". So that cheered me up!

Wait what happens when Shillary gives her speech.  That voice will send people screaming for the hills.  I won't be able to watch.  She will have to make the voice as big as the crowd, modulating is not an option, like she's been trying to do occasionally.

But seriously, love to read, used to frequent Barnes and Nobles constantly until it got taken over by hipsters and liberal college kids.  Kindle was one of the best things I ever bought.

So I was in Barnes and Noble the other day and some DUmb ass came in talking on a cell phone. I don’t know who it was talking to, but it was loudly using profanity so any child or decent person could hear. I glared at it figuring it would get the clue that one should not use that sort of language with innocents around. The DUmb ass cowered away a bit and quieted down after my look so I went on to the dining area to get a quick bite to eat.

As I sat there who showed up and sat down two rows over? Yep. The DUmb ass. It was still on the phone and back to talking loudly and using profanity. I gave it an angry look as I finished my drink then walked over to it. I looked it directly in the eyes and said, “clean up the language or there’s going to be a problem.” It immediately jumped up and ran for the exit. I don’t know if it spilled its coffee in its hurry to leave, but it was leaving a trail of liquid on the floor as it scurried away.

All the other people in the dining area cheered and clapped their hands.
