now i'm sick, too
been feeling cruddy the last few days, so i went to the clinic as a precaution and they think it's a bacterial infection.
husband will be in the hospital another day or two and it upsets me that i can't go be with him but i know that's best for both of us.

Your resistance was probably low from being exhausted and around all those germs.
Yeah. I'll bet it has nothing to do with being a layabout do-nothing pothead.

i've been bombarded by germs for weeks now and haven't been taking care of myself. at least i have the kittehs to keep me company.
"Bombarded by germs" is probably an understatement. I wouldn't touch a thing in the dirty home of fizzgig with, to borrow a phrase from frank, "a ten foot primitive".

Hospitals are very germy places and there you were..........of course, being with your sick husband.
I'm so sorry.
It's no fun, but you will recover!
