I went over to Skins's island this morning, hoping to see that he's coercing party unity--which given the narrow-minded intransigence of the Bernie bullies, he's going to have to do sooner or later--by wrapping the Bernie Sanders forum into the Hillary Clinton forum, and by compelling the Bernie bullies to use that "H" icon as their avatar, but nope, he's not enforcing party unity yet.
Probably he'd better hurry up, though.

Given that neither Democratic candidate has collected the necessary delegates to win, and neither candidate has suspended their campaign, it is still primary season on Democratic Underground. Members are free to support the Democratic primary candidate of their choice here on DU while the candidates themselves are still actively campaigning for the nomination.
And in the current Terms of Service --
"In Democratic primaries, members may support whomever they choose."
The Democratic Primary is NOT OVER. There will be a contested convention. The convention takes place at the end of July, 2016. Don't like that? Not. My. Problem. Think that insulting fellow Democrats is demonstrating support for your candidate?
It's not. It is just BULLYING and turns people off from participating in the process.
Right now I am a DEMOCRAT who is supporting a DEMOCRAT and also supporting the DEMOCRATIC PRINCIPLE of letting people vote. Millions of people are extremely unhappy with Hillary Clinton, and telling us to sit down and shut up or mockingly telling us that we don't belong in the Party is Total Asshole Behavior.
So if I am sending you to this thread because you state or imply that something I post makes me a Trump supporter, not only are you LYING, you are ALSO being rude, obnoxious, and crossing lines that damage not only this site and its membership, but also support for Democrats in general in the real world by tempting me to believe ALL Hillary supporters are abusive, bullying trolls.
You need to knock it off. And an apology might help, too.

Thank you. I have never had so many people on my ignore list before. All the cries of sexism are making me embarrassed for my gender. I'm apparently sexist (or just don't understand feminism) for supporting Bernie. I have real issues with Hillary's judgment, her past, and her penchant for attracting scandal. This has nothing to do with her gender, but don't try to tell them that. I've been accused of being a Republican because I have stated that I do not and will not support Hillary. Not only am I a registered Democrat, I have NEVER pulled the lever for a Republican and will never vote Republican. Like you, I am supporting a Democrat, the one who is actually running as a Democrat with Democratic values, not the one with baggage, poor judgment, and Republican values. That in no way implies that I support Trump.

what I REALLY don't get is the mixed message: "1) 85% of Sanders supporters will vote for Hillary, so not to worry; 2) ALL Sanders supporters are evil white racists, crazy people, fantasists, to be subjected to relentless harassment and disdain here and elsewhere."
WHICH IS IT? Do they hate ALL of us, or only 15%?

You are very articulate and convincing and hence they will try all the harder to silence you with their crazy accusations and insults. Please don't let them get you down. I've noticed today they're piling on extra heavily because of Bernie's upset last night- it's like kryptonite to them.
I've been in the Democratic Party longer than most of those smug cretins were alive and if you had told me that the party would not only support a candidate as compromised as HRC but to attempt to crush her progressive rival, I'd have fainted from shock.
Nobody here supports Trump, you know it, I know it and they do too. They're already looking for a scapegoat because Trump will crush her or she'll be indicted and they need desperately to find someone to blame it on, and let's face it, the progressive wing of the party has always been treated like the red-headed step-child.
