Oh my.

Always busy sleuthing, Sherlock Judy.

I'm seeing a new HRC tactic being discussed on social media

....that Bill Clinton is very ill and may only have a year or so left in him. Supposedly this is something that the campaign will exploit in whispers to gain sympathy.

Not going to post a link. It's just out there.

Skins has really got to ban the old bat.

1. Sounds like...

Bullshit.

I'll believe it when I hear it from a reliable news source.

Oh ya...there aren't any such animals.

2. well, many people have noticed how frail he seems lately....

...although he is able to get fired up enough to insult Millennials and activists of various kinds.

3. So instead of taking care of him at home...

She's running him ragged in order to get her precious. Can't even set aside her ambition to care for an ill spouse.

6. He does look like a doddering old man in some of his candid shots

I helped a lot of the elderly in assisted living when I downsized clients. You see them get like that, and rate of aging would go into hyper speed.

If this story is true, even I cannot see h continuing with a run to the WH. The campaign season is like dog years. Unless she really doesn't care about him. But I think she does. They both have been on this co-dependent ride for decades and no one understands them like they understand each other. It can pass for love, but I am sure they care.

So I don't think they know he is dying.

If I am wrong, then the bottom falls out on the depth of my disdain for her. I just don't think she is that terrible.

7. Chicken and egg? A lot of us have commented on how bad he's been looking of late.

Some Hillary supporters came back with the fact that he went vegan (ish) after a heart attack and had lost weight, to be healthier, but that was very old news. When that happened, he did not look frail as a result. He has been looking frail recently though.

So, is he very ill and that is what caused our (meaning the public, not only DU) comments? Or have our comments given them this idea? Or a bit of both?

I hope he is not ill and recovers if he is ill. Contrary to the bull on this board, I wish them both a long happy, healthy life. I just don't want it to be in public office.

13. Well said Merrily, I feel the same

If this is there tactic it's going to backfire - how much sympathy can you drum up for a woman who makes her dying husband campaign for her?

14. Someone else posted here a while back, a pregnant daughter and a sick husband. But, IF this is a

tactic, which is a big if, it will backfire, in my opinion. I think a lot of people are fans of him more than of her and the fact that he will, in their minds, be "co-president" is a factor for them.

I say it's a big if because there is also the stuff about his having an office in the West Wing. You don't put that stuff out and put out that he is dying at the same time. Or, maybe you do. What do I know? I don't think that way, but the Clintons have been known to try to have it every which way.

8. I read somewhere that he has progressive

heart disease and doctors can't do anything else for him. It's genetic. So he's not in very good health. But using that fact to gain sympathy is kind of low. Of course , Bill is probably on board with this.

Hmmm.

9. is that supposed to assuage the fears of those of us

who don't want to see Bill Clinton as her "Trade Czar" or whatever title & job it was that she promised to stick him in the other day?

11. So, let me get this straight...

Are we supposed to vote for her because:

a) Woman!

b) Inevitable!

c) Bill's gonna die!

d) All of the above

e) Flavor of the day

Personally, I don't think he's well. In a clip from his "the world is so mean to Hillary" speech, there were times I thought he was going to collapse. Most pictures I see show a very ill, old man. Heck, my father is about twenty years older, has a fatal bone marrow disease and looks healthier.

12. I didn't think that he was well when he was President!

Now they want a sympathy vote. Give me a freakin' break!

I've seen it suggested at various places... online magazines, blogs, social media.  The overall theme being that Billy Jeff just doesn't look very good.

I've seen that as well.  A couple of months ago.

That's when Hillary will pull out the really huge sympathy gamble and Chelsea miscarries.

He does look like hell.  That's what a vegan diet will get you.  He looks like he could blow away in the wind.  He's so scrawny, it makes his head look huge so he looks like Mr. Mackey on South Park.

I am truly surprised that Judy Grasswipe hasn't been banned.  She's been absolutely vicious toward Shrillary, a democrat.  Beyond the pale.

He's the poster child for living a life of dissipation, now that Fat Dead Ted has disappeared from the zeitgeist.  Or possibly for 'The wages of sin.'  Or maybe 'The Dorian Gray Studio for Portraiture.'

I thought he might be on that Al Sharpton diet, the kind that turns you into a human bobblehead, but after hearing about Clinton's buddy with the private sex island I'm not so sure.
