Remember this from just a few months back?

I'm starting to think there is some seriously bad ju-ju in my neighborhood.

Remember how, just over a year ago my neighbor was murdered?
And the killer never identified? But the police THINK that the killer was from our neighborhood.

Well several months after that, two more of our neighbors went across the street and murdered two OTHER neighbors.

Then, just yesterday, we found out from our next door neighbors that the couple who owned the house before them (and still lived in the neighborhood) had committed suicide.

That's 5 violent deaths in just over a year, in a few blocks' radius.

Does that seem unusual?

We are on a superfund site, maybe there's something in the water?

1. We tend to see patterns where none exist.

We want order and things to made sense in our world.

Unfortunately, that sometimes doesn't happen, and there isn't any pattern.

I think all these sad happenings are coincidental.

It's scary and awful.

But that's how life is sometimes.

I'm sorry.

Yeah.  Things like this happen ALL the time out here in red state hell.

2. Thanks, CP.

I'm sure you are right, but it is starting to creep me out.

ALL is well.  Stay RIGHT where you are!  Fight the power where it is!  Speak truth to murder power!

4. Time to move.

Time to stay in the bed your policies have created, is what I say.

No, Inspector DUmbshit. It's not the water.

The common thread between all the deaths is you. Each dead person lived within walking distance of your roach-infested hovel.

The best thing to do is turn yourself in and confess.

Primitives love popping pills, any pills.  Has anyone checked around to see if this primitive stumbled onto a stash of Ambien and has been gobbling them?

Tracking, perhaps?

No, can't be.  Liberal hellholes are fracking free zones.

That explains the dog's missing worm pills, and the toilet mint.

  • All in all, not bad, not bad at all
Five violent deaths in a year? Around blue hellholes that qualifies as a peaceful suburb.

Big Mo can total up four times that many on a single summer weekend.

Have you a primitive infestation, BD?

Trying sprinkling some job applications around.  I have heard that works.

I hear scurrying sounds in the basement, so I'll throw a couple down the stairs.

Damn primitives. Worse than termites.

Scurrying?  It sounds like you're going to have to flush them out.  That reminds me of one of my favorite Bloom County strips:

I figured to bait the field with Cheetos and midget porn videos. If that doesn't work, then I'll use a patchouli spray and call them out with "Free Palestine" and "Black Lives Matter".
