Dude.
I go away for a few days—and I’m not back yet, until the day of the New York Democrat primary—during which time your cheating candidate got into all sorts of hot water, including that he’s not so generous in sharing his income with the government, as he expects the rest of us to be.
But that’s all new stuff, while I’m more concerned about an older issue.
And I think it’s rather rude of your fellow bullies and thugs to ignore the issue as if it didn’t exist or isn’t important; when Ronald Reagan was president, these same people probably didn’t ignore it, and thought it pretty important.
You know, dude, Methuselah’s pretty old; in fact, he’s now exceeded the reasonable life expectancy for American males of white European derivation. He can remember when God was a boy; he’s as old as the hills.
If I were a life-insurance company, I’d hesitate to insure him, simply because his ancient age doesn’t allow for many more years of paying premiums or, barring that, he has a habit of irritating people who have friends who deal with people being a nuisance to them.
This is not a guy who plans to hang around for a long time, no matter how much he wants to.
So…..in your wildest dreams (but fortunately nowhere else), the old sourassed sourpuss hangs on long enough to get the Democrat nomination. But with each passing day, his life expectancy diminishes even more.
And so what happens if he keels over from old age before the election?
What will the Democrats do? Do they even have any sort of contingency plan?
What if he hangs on and wins the election, but there’s a couple of months between the election and his presumptive taking-of-office; two months during which time any reasonable expectations of longevity evaporate faster than the snows of March?
Suppose,
mirabile dictum, he lasts clear through an inauguration.
There ain’t hardly any way the old guy’s going to live long enough to serve out a full term—I’m sure even the most hopeful, the most optimistic, of the Bernie bullies and thugs understand this.
So how come none of your people have been talking about any possible vice-presidential candidates?
I suspect that’s more important—who’s going to run the country for the next four years--than all the free stuff he’s promising to give out, mostly because it’s unlikely he’ll have much time to play Santa Claus.

Still boggles the mind about the sheer nasty ingratitude of your pals towards the worthier candidate, who gave you guys lots and lots of stuff, and now this. The Democrats have a young, vibrant, attractive, energetic, enthusiastic candidate, so why would
anyone bother supporting some grouchy old fart?
